Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan, accompanied by Jakarta KPUD Chairman, checked the status of voters in the final voter list (DPT) for the 2019 Election in Cilandak Barat Urban Village, South Jakarta.

"I did checking in the print out list of voters' names just now. God willing, my wife, children and me can use our voting rights in the upcoming election," he expressed, Wednesday (10/17).

In that occasion, he also urged Jakar tans who already had the right to vote to soon check with the local urban village to make sure they were registered with the DPT.

"In the upcoming election, we must use the right to vote in accordance with the address listed on the ID card. So make sure it now," he stated.

Jakarta KPUD Chairperson, Betty Eplison Indroos explained, up to October, his party has got 9.914 citizens who came to the DPT complaints post all over Jakarta areas.

"We're incessantly carrying out a movement to protect the right to vote. In this case we're doing together with the people to check whether their names have been registered or not," she said.
